Woke up today and I was crying
Dreaming of the days when you were young
Holding you so close to me
Trying not to think of days to come

Why was I crying?
For lost days and times and things I'll never see again
But dreams never last and all I have left are memories
My thoughts turn back to better days and times of you and me

How can I tell you?
Eventually you'll see through me and never look at me that way again

Treasure those moments while you may
